So i got a K&N intake and Diablo Tuner question...

I installed the intake, removed the carbon trap and loaded the Diablo K&N 91 octane tune into the car and retarded the global spark by 4* so I can run 87 octane around town. I went out and logged my L/STFTs and this is what I was getting. My LTFT were around (+7 to +8%) and my STFT was at (+/- 5%). At WOT the LTFT 0% out (great) and my STFT is +15% so commanding 12.8 AFR (great).

I still found that my LTFT could use some adjusting so I added 3% to the MAF curve using the Diablo and went out to log the car to see if it changed and this is what I found. My LTFT is now (-1 to +3%) on B1 and B2 and my STFT are (+3 to -3) on B1 and B2 at highway speed (110 km/h) and cruzin around town at 50 to 60 km/h except at acceleration where they fluctuate which I assume because I am adding fuel and commanding an AFR at a certain throttle %. At idle my LTFT is at 0% and my STFT is at (+/- 2%) which is great I think and at WOT LT = 0% and ST = 15% still. This was logged with the car at operating temp.

Is this good? I am not sure. Has anyone had any experience with a diablo tuner and adjusting thier tunes. Please chime in.

Thanks

Hey Mat

Hows things going? Are you going to be at your shop around 5 PM today or maybe on the weekend? I'd like to pick your brains about the Diablosport tuner and how some of the options for changing the tunes work if you don't mind.

Cheers and thanks for the response.
