International Car Show and Music Festival

Well i thought i would post this seeing as i am a resident and a participant. Rock n August starts today tuesday august 5th and ends this saturday with the big car show that has around 500 participants.
You will find smaller car shows each night this week at various St. Albert locations and there is always some very serious cars cruising around here all week. The show does have alot of street rod era cars but muscle cars as well as modern performance cars make this event something for everyone.
There is 50's dances and pancake breakfasts as well, so if you have a chance to check this out, it is a very good event. Here is a link to the website.

Well the show was something else, there was 478 cars registered and 47 categories to compete in. The quality of the iron was just amazing and the crowd was huge, the weather was very hot and the location at Lions park in St. Albert was perfect. I could have taken alot more pictures than what i have here, but i hope you all enjoy....

There was alot more cars i should have taken pics of, there was a very nice 70 twister special and some other early stangs that deserved mention but it was so hot i just was trying to stay in the shade. The event is really worth checking out and a great time was had by all who attended...

Nice job with the pics Pro SC..... I believe that's the first black S197 Bullitt I've seen.

Love the clean look of the black Fox and the 502 in that Camaro..wow, amazing job on a lot of really nice rides.

Nice pics, I like the camaro alot but the fuel injection took it down alot for me, its from the 60's put a carb on that like its supposed to be!

i wish i would have made it out to some of the weekday smaller shows, they had one every night of the week but i was busy. Btw that Camaro had Hawaii plates on it and he drove it onto the street when he left the show so they must have been the real thing.
Tweaked, i hear you on the carb issue but i have no problem with that unless it was a factory big block car. I mean you see alot of guys running a carb on a car that came with efi which is easy to do, it takes alot more work to install efi into a car that only came with a carb, besides it looks great!
