Road Trip?

So I've got a curious question/suggestion for everyone.

My fiance and I will be (atm 95% chance) driving back down to Ontario. Driving from Shilo Manitoba to Barrie Ontario. From Barrie we are going to be picking up our brother/brother in-law,(may stay there for 1 evening, depending on the time we get there) and will be driving to Kingston, to celebrate his birthday at either a rippers, bar, club, etc. Don't know which one we'll be choosing just yet.

This is just a suggestion, but we were curious if anyone would like to join us for the cruise, and even the clubbing in Kingston =). It's alright if you don't start with us, but we'll be giving rough estimations on timings of where we'd be. (For instance leave on a monday in the morning, we'd show up at winnipeg early afternoon. you could join us there, reach thunder bay late afternoon, etc etc). Or if you just want to meet up with us at Kingston then that would be fine and dandy too.

Hopefully no one here has any "beef" with imports, because we're giving the suggestion to my fiance's website. Toyota Nation. We thought it would be an awesome suggestion to have (in our minds) the two best groups of people cruising. (Our best pictures in our heads was the fact of stopping at a Timmies with every other car being a mustang and a skyline heheh)

The day we would be leaving would either be the evening of June 26th, or June 27th in the morning. Travel through Northern Ontario, and arrive in Barrie sometime on the 28th or even morning of 29th (depending on if we stay anywhere for the night, or pull another 24hr drive that we did last time , also depending on what everyone else would like to do). We would probably be in Kingston on the 30th (thats when my brother-in-laws birthday is). Our return trip would be the following friday night OR saturday morning (July 5th I think is the saturday???)

If all goes fine and dandy, and this is a 100% go for us, if anyone else is interested, I'd happily give out our cell number so we can keep in contact of when you'd be joining us, and whereabouts we would be.

SO, anyone intersted in this? =D ... Everyone needs to experience a fun and relaxing trip once in awhile

Great idea, but don't Toyota's and Mustang's have the same mix ratio as oil and water? lol Could be a scene right out of The Road Warrior...... !!!!

Well I live in Barrie, so meeting at Hooters for some Wings before drifting across the road to a local bar would be most agreeable

Yeah I had my personal Brain fart, thank you for catching that.. Skyline is with the Nissan (its another forum my fiance is in) Either way its not the fact of how the two styles mix or dont mix. Its the fact that we're opening our eyes to possibly new techniques and even things we may not of been aware of. One of pure horsepower, and another of pure maneuvourability (spelling?). Plus I have three words for this. "WE ARE CANADIANS!" well at least I presume most of us are. lol. we accept pretty damn much everything in our lives. We should be open enough to allow ourselves to cruise with other vehicles on the open road, especially if our goal is to have a fun journey with tonnes of people! Its' about the fun and experience.. not about how much shinier ones polish is Heck we'll be driving down with a Mazda protege, which I see is better than my silly Cavalier(only picked the thing because it made me feel like it was my training wheels for my baby lol. C'mon, my first car I bought and worked on myself. I'm proud of it! LOL) So yeah. I'll give the definites on a later(but early so everyone has time to plan it) and be able to enjoy this.

Now, in Barrie for the hooters.. we're talking about the one thats on the part of the hill? Near Centennial (if my stupid memory serves me right) correct?

OH and don't worry 84stanggt-top, they are a precious site to look at =)

UPDATE

Unfortunatly this is quick notice, but it was the only time I was able to get off of work. I will be leaving the evening OR the following morning, this Thursday(May 22 evening) or Friday morning (May 23) to head off to Borden/Angus/Barrie Ontario (yes the three lol. whichever you know is where we'll be heading =) hehe) Anyone who is curious about doing this. or who wants to join us in part of the trip. Send me a PM regarding where and what not. I will give out my cell so we can make sure to get in contact. oh and yes, we will be stopping in Barrie during our stay there. Either to Dunlop or Hooters (depending hehe) etc etc =) I'll be checking on the forum every day till the day.

Leaving: Friday morning from CFB/ASU Shilo @ 05:00hrs, estimated time in Winnipeg 08:00hrs plan to be in Sault Ste Marie by 21:00hrs. (These are estimates, it really depends on weather, traffic, and if all hell was to break loose.)
Depending on how we fell, we'll either continue driving through the night, or we'll be stopping to get some sleep. Our goal is to at least reach Sudbury before stopping.

From Sault Ste Marie to Barrie is estimated at a 7hr drive. We will be in Barrie sometime on Saturday (thats a definite!)
