Can't wait to see what the track will bring this year.................. We are still running the stock pumps in it and they are running about 98% duty cycle at full throttle, the NO2 is going to require a fuel sytem upgrade. When is the winter going to end.........................................![]() EDIT: Sheet posted for you, nice numbers btw - Darren5.0L Last edited by Darren5.0L; 03-21-2008 at 7:39 PM. |

AWESOME! You'll have to take me for a drive in that beast this summer when we all get together for a cruise.
Very impressive!

Wow....is that some impressive numbers or what!! I'm sure it sounds pretty sweet when it spins up too!
I'm a little confused though......when you say "the NO2 is going to require a fuel system upgrade".....would it be reasonable to say you're going to throw nitrous on a car that's running a 600 rwhp KB???? Dude- that's insane!! ( I'm jealous!) One last question, just out of curiousity....I see Brown Brothers did your dyno sheet.....is that the same Brown Brothers that's out west? So- did you have to transport your car across the country from St Andrews to get them to do the tuning?? |

Very nice numbers...I like the attitude, never enough power
![]() man, I think I'm 250 at the wheels now (soon to be 350 or so I hope), and thats pretty fun...double would be insane...triple just plan ludicrous, or even PLAID!! |

Hey guys,
Yes we have just moved to the area a month and a half ago from Vancouver, so Brown Brothers did the tuning. Wayne is an outstanding tuner by the way. The car just arrived this week via enclosed carrier. As far as the nitrous, with the blower upgrade I can no longer engage the nitrous without upgrading the fuel system. Last year, with the Stieg Eaton and Nitrous the car was making about 600 rwhp. Now with the KB and a fuel system upgrade the tuner out west figured around 750 at the wheels. At the current horsepower level the pistions and rings are now running on borrowed time....................... No, Never enough horsepower Time to go racing.......................

The drivetrain mods include the following
DFx Centerforce Clutch, SFI rated Centerforce Flywheel, SFI rated Scatershield, SFI approved harmonic balancer, DSS halfshafts, Delrin Bushings, IRS Brace, Subframe Connectors and Line lock. I have a set of DOT approved drag radials for racing, she hooks hard at about 4k No breakage to date although there was that time............................................Dil, what kind of horsepower are you running in your ride??? Hey crazycanuck,
Nice numbers! I had mine out today for the first time in 4 months. What a blast! Mine goes in for mods in 3 weeks, so I'll post my numbers when done. Hoping for 550 or so at the wheels. John

For horsepower, I'm going to go with Steeda CAI, +3 pulley, belt tensioner, Diablo tune, NGK plugs and full Bassani stainless 3" exhaust from the manifolds back (may do headers later on). Also on tap is a one piece aluminum driveshaft. For better traction, I'm replacing the upper and lower control arms Steeda billet lower control and competition upper arms. That's all I've got planned for this year. Next year, I'm still debating this, but I may replace the stock SC with a KB 3.4, or I may just go for a full suspension upgrade and lower it about 1 to 1.5 inches. These mods aren't cheap, but they are a lot of fun. GT4MT, you are correct, it will most likely never be enough. LOL 3 weeks tomorrow, Shelby gets her first transplants thanks to the teams at WMS (Shannon), Tecmotion (Matthew - our very own tuner extra ordinaire) and Zero to 60 (Tim). John
