3.55's and Trac-Lok rear end installed.

Big thanks to the Beaches (mostly Gary) for installing my 3.55's and rear end rebuild kit. I wish this was documented with pics but I wasn't there for any of the installation.

I do however have a video of me having some fun to make this thread worthwhile.

nice vid, i got 3.55s in my car and love them.

they're free, just powershift the 1/4 mile 5 or 6 times in a 5 hour period with a stock shifter, quadrent (must be totally warn out) and clutch .

After that your tranny supercharger should be properly installed.

3.55's

How high are you revving say at 60mph compared to your old gears? I assume you had 2.73's or 3.08's? I have a buddy with a complete carrier and 3.55's for a $100, and I thought it would be the easiest bolt in to give me a better launch at the lights.

ah man, i don't know per say what my rpm's are compared to before... but get em. I can't tell you what a night and day difference it is

thanks... it's rare i'll do something like that.

I plan on doing a huge melt next season though... i've got some goodyears with about 20% tread left on my new rims and i'm planning on new rubber anyway.

later tires!

Hey shakes, very nice car! I was jsut wondering, why only 14.95@94 seems very low for what you have done? just wondering will probaley get flammed

So did you ever accomplish your "melt down" this year on your Goodyears?
