Hey everybody my name is Kyle and I'm from Melfort, SK but living in Saskatoon while I go to university. I own a 73 Mach 1 and am looking at adding either a 95GT or 97GT to the stable. I sure haven't seen too many other classic guys around here but there has to be some. Later.

Wow that's only my dream car. Tell me more about it! Ya I know all about the restoration process but once you get started it's a lot of fun, and even more fun when you're finished. |

Hello and welcome good to see another classic owner on the board. If you are thinking of a 95 or 97 GT go with the 95. The !st generation 4.6L SOHC were kind of dismal performers, the 95 still has the 5.0L.

Thanks for the welcome guys. So far everyone has said that the 95 would be the best choice. The only things that I don't like about this particular one are the fact that it handles really poorly and has the ugliest 18s on it that you've ever seen. I know those are only minor things but I'm on a pretty tight budget these days. All opinions are welcome though since I dont know much about the SN-95s. Thanks guys.

I would almost suggest trading mine (+$$$) for your Mach 1 but I've got a Kenne Bell on the way...
About the ugly 18" you can always change that. And handling on the SN-95 cars will feel like night and day versus the classics, (unless yours is prepped for T/A racing or something) and upgrading the handling is quite cheap. just a thought though. If you have any questions about the 1995 GT's I'll do my best to answer them for you.

Yeah i can help you out with the SN95, they are great, and they have so much more style then anything earlier, plus they have to good ol pushrod. Basicly anything you could ever want in a car.
I have some stock rims for the sn95 i would sell you real cheap to get rid of the 18's if you hate them that much |

Well I have tons of pics of the mach...well over 1000 actually. I don't know how to put the pics on here but feel free to check out my website: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/735583 I need to update it with newer pics, maybe when I'm home this weekend. I'll definately try the vb Garage thing though. |

I like the tree security, probly work really well. If your planning on fixing those cars up wouldnt it be benifitial to tarp them or something. Save a bit of rust. I dont do body work but i thought i just might make a bit of sense.

Ya we moved all the vehicles into sheds at the same time as those pics were taken. And I guess the tree must have worked because nobody stole the car in all the years it was sitting there ![]() |
