As most of you noticed I bought a beater yesterday and it got me thinking, what is everyone driving for a beater? Have any pics?

I wouldn't neccesarly call some of these "Winter Beaters"...lol I wish I could afford to have a newer F-150 and call it a Winter Beater.

i still drive my 79 f250 on occasion. it's now just a firewood truck, because of the price of fuel, and if it was to be pulled over, it would be done. you can see the ground below you as you drive. i just recently picked up an f150 screw lariat. it was way overdue, i wrote off my dodge pigota in august, when a person i was passing turned left with no signal. last week i also got an 86 mustang 4 banger auto for 400$. and its a runner. perfect for the boy when he turns 16 next summer.

This is my winter beater (an '02 Jimmy 4X4). I bought it 2 years ago with 112K on the odometer and now it's at 120K (so only 8K in 2 years and those were mostly highway KMs).
I've said it before, but my daily driver is the Calgary Transit 103 express bus to downtown and back (I've got to snap a pic of one and post it).  John

My true beater (well, everything really does still work including the R12 AC), '90 Accord with 355K and counting...
