Well that's it folks..... the Vert is now parked up for the season, battery disconnected, fuel additive in & plates cancelled (still covered on a package policy just in case anything happens to her).
In another month I'll do the same with the Red '90 leaving the beater Mustang to run through the cold months ahead. I know there may be a few days of good weather left but with my exams coming up quickly I'll not be able to take advantage of them anyway. |

Thats gotta be the first Pony parked for the season on MC .....wow, that's depressing Steve! I'm optimistically hoping for the end of the month at least, but the days of sun and no rain are becoming few and far between.... still gotta get out and take some pics to get through those five or six non-driving months of MoTM voting!!!!

I'd aim for the month end too Mike but for I have a 2 week intensive course that'll take up the last 2 weeks & studying every day between then & now so my vert's season is effectively over.

Sorry to hear it Steve....tough go, but smart to be realistic about it- good luck on the exams by the way.
Have you got it in a spot where you can go through and do another "big clean"? I like to get out every once and a while through the winter and give everything top to bottem some decent detailing... |

I think mine may have been the first to get parked for the winter. It's been off the road since Sept 15, although that wasn't the planned parking date, just the date the motor grenaded itself. Now I get to build a new motor this winter. |

well if the police get their way, i may have to put mine away sooner then later. got pulled over tonight and the only reason he pulled me over was "your exhaust is too loud" dude its got the stock cats and some weld in flows on it....its not that loud. then he pegged me for my tint. no fine but said i had a month to get it off, yet i don't need to show him. so i may have to park it and call it quits for the season. don't need any tickets.

I got confused by your grille mod Carnage - thought you were still active!!!! 5.0 Fugitive...ouch man. Think I meant voluntary parking...your case was a little more unfortunate! Good luck on the build...always a good excuse to go bigger and better. (badder??) Intmdtr- sounds like you walked away with the best of that deal.....might not be a bad idea, especially if we're talking small town law here. Holy crap it's been busy tonight...... I've had mine insured for 2 months, almost 3 and i've only put ~120kms on it, get my licence back Nov 1st, im hoping its nice for atleast a few days i can drive my car legally.
waste of money i think i'll pull the insurance and just put a permit on it for a few days if the weathers decent. Then back to the garage to be teared apart again, and a tune in a spring. |

I didn't put Shelby away until November 21st last year and I'm hoping for around the same date this year. Weather man is not cooperating this week though, but looking better for the weekend.
