Sunset Pearl Orange + 90 notch?

Alright this might just be what I need to get back into my fox. I've got a good friend that will do all the body work and painting for around 1 grand since he isn't charging me labor..

I found this "2003 Lamborghini Arancio Borialis, Sunset Pearl Orange" that I think will look good on my notch. My friend said he can buy colors and paint the car high gloss with that color. But he said that he can't mix colors (since hes not that experienced yet).

Does this need to be mixed to make "Lambo Sunset Pearl" or can you just buy the paint named this and put it on?

No, Orange properly belongs on only a few Mustangs: Mach's, BOSS's, and Shelby's. The classics and new stuff can pull this off, Mustang II's, Foxes and 94-98 Cokes bottles can't.

Why?
Fox mustangs have a fair bit of black trim/cladding on them and this makes it a Halloween visual effect, Orange and Black, Pumpkins and witches.

Or perhaps a fast school bus...

However choose another color and you would be good to go for the price.

What equipment is he spraying it with? You might be able to get the color mixed custom and he could then just spray it. Not sure what S'toon has for autobody supply shops. You could ask around the local autobody shops - someone will set you on the right track.

Darren, Then the old boss's would be Halloween cars too, since they did have the black striping going down the side. I won't have the molding black anyways, I was just showing you the color... and don't talk sh!t about halloween! haha

I found one on a fox, the orange looks a little better then that brownish/orange i posted before.

Sunset Pearl orange or the Fleet orange are my picks. Orange looks good on the foxes IMHO, be damned the purists (hell, I'm putting BMW lights in). Modding is modding. But I wouldn;t put a 21 or whatever parnelli Jones had...that'd just be goofy. You aren't doing a boss clone or anything, so spray it.

As for the pumpkin effect, a little, but just make sure to spray the molding as well, but NOT around the windows etc. I saw a mustang done with everything but the windows themselves painted orange (or some turd yellow) and it was hideous. ONLY the molding along the sides same colour...my oh-pi-non.

I've been considering that burnt orange myself, but with as much smoke in it before the orange disappears.

Interesting choices....difficult to get a good comparison with the first two pics being in direct sunlight and the last being indoors. That being said, the Fleet Orange seems to be the deepest color of the bunch. Depends what look you're going for I guess, but I'd vote for numbah three!!! .
