Just got back from the drag racing event - way too much fun!

After spending all morning cleaning from top to bottom, I finally decided to - so much for the clean car!

Weather was hot and my skills are not but managed a 13.7 @ 111 MPH.

Will try to post some pics later tonight. I think there's a video floating around too but that might have to wait until we're back home.

I ran a best of 14.5 @ 95MPH with a 2.100 short time. My tranny shifts from first into 3rd no 2nd whats so ever and is really sloppy (I shift at 4000rpm ... the car finally shifts at 5100).

Not too bad, I got more familiar with the tree and everything.

I too had what I consider a great day at the track with my Sonic Blue 4.0 V6 shooting a 15.296 (almost a half second better than my previous best) at 90.671 MPH (I finally broke 90!) I managed to best a couple of V8's tonight but more important I made more progress. The track started going away as time went on (lots of people spinning tires) and in my last run I said piss on it and spun the first 150' of the track. Great fun and I like the track people they are very helpful.

Met up with UK Pony today (he was working registration) saw Mathew at the track and after my 12th run I decided to watch some racing but no Mathew? I don't know what happened to him. Nice car BTW Mathew.

we both ran 15.4 ( i was in neutral lol)

and i rolled through the lights because my brakes didnt hold past 2000rpm
