2003 Cobra 578 HP

Here's a deal for someone. Would like to have it myself.....but too much other stuff going on right now.
It's a legitimate Halifax phone number, so I doubt it's a scam.

2003 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT - Halifax Cars For Sale - Kijiji Halifax

**EDIT** If anyone outside of Halifax would like for me to go look at it and take it for a test drive.....I would be more than happy to do so!!

Does being so close to the saltwater take a toll on the sheetmetal out there?

Nice!, rare colour too. Good price with what your getting, the only thing that might worry me is the cage, it might be difficult to insure? (would be difficult in Ontario, don't know about NS?)

There's a few street cars around here with cages. Not sure how it affects their insurance.

Yeah its a sticky situation, do those injectors(blue) look stock? And I think it's missing an upper idler pulley?

With my S/C I had to eliminate one of the upper idler pullies. It might be the same with this one.
I'm guessing the injectors wouldn't be stock. My stock injectors were black and the new ones are blue.

I would suggest differently, after doing work on a few Alberta cars I never want to wrench on an East Coast one again.

By comparison, want to loosen a bolt?:

NS Car: WD-40, Impact, heat & Impact, Hammer, cold chisel, and cutting torch.

AB Car: Socket, Rachet, and move on

My 1995 Mustang is 100% rust free, everything comes apart like the day it was assembled, and should continue to be that way for the foreseeable future.

Here's a good example:
My rust project Not 56k friendly - Corral Forums

Back on track, I notice all the work was done at the Mustang Shop, I wonder if the fellow moved from here and took the car with him??

i agree. a customer just brought his 04 navi to me for some maintenance. he was saying how much cheaper an ottawa car is than a bc car. anyways, long story short, is i've never seen such a clean vehicle with such frozen tranny pan bolts. good thing helicoils exist. nice thing about alberta vehicles is that they're cheaper to restore, because they come pre-sandblasted, if they've ever been driven in anything but summer. lol. i've never seen carlots with vehicles that dirty before.

Well I called the guy to get some info on his car. Explained to him that I wasn't a tire kicker and that I wasn't interested in the car for myself, but was just looking to get some info for someone that might be interested. Everything is legit. He told me if I was interested in looking at it to let him know and I could go check it out. He also said that it is garage kept, never winter driven, and doesn't see rain.

He was out west working and moved back from Calgary 2 years ago.

Any car that is used year round will certainly be rusted (especially if not cared for and has no rust protection), but that's not because we live next to salt water....it's because of the tremendous loads of salt that is used on our streets in the winter. My '87 is rust free (with the exception of the infamous rusty hatch), but it has never seen winter. Labrador cars are known for being "rust free" because they don't use salt in the winter....just sand.

Tell the insurance company it doesn't have a cage, it has "enhanced mechanically re-enforced passenger collision protection". It's like an airbag......honest!!!

You could hide it at my house, she'd never think to look in Alberta.
