Might be on to something there 20gt00.....the more I look at that, the more I like it. John's pic is particularily well suited for that format, but even if you had a dark background, you could put in lighter lettering. I like how you have the MC members name in the bottem corner...gives it that personal touch that seems to fit the whole atmosphere here.

How long did that take you to whip up? The more time goes by, the more likely that we won't see a paper copy of the calender....maybe I'll throw a poll up to see if everybody would be more inclined to see a virtual calender.

Guess if you really wanted to, you could print off the appropriate page and put it anywhere you wanted too around the house....

I'm sure there would be a few details left to hammer out- just thinking out loud here.....lots of submissions, so voting would be a bit of a challenge. Set it up so that you could submit your pic to be voted on for a particular month maybe? Or just do a poll similar to last month's MoTM and throw everybody in and take the top twelve winners??

Damn 20GT00 thats cool!...+1 on the right pic for that format too.Im gonna make a mental note next time I snap a few pics that will utilize this exact idea. Either way im easy so ill leave the ball in your court to decide what is to be done about the calender thing.

Thanks guys. This only took me about 5 minutes to whip up. Just a rough mock up. As far as choosing the 12 cars I think that either way would be fine. A monthly poll, or a poll to choose all twelve at once. A monthly poll would benefit everyone including members joining up in the middle of the calendar year, and choosing all twelve at once gives everyone something to look forward to at the end of the year. Of course if your car gets voted in one month, you shouldnt be able to enter again that year.

If we ran a monthly poll would that be as part of MOTM (perhaps the evolution of that in fact) or seperate to it. I agree that if your pic was voted in for the calendar you should not enter again that year to be fair on others. I agree it would also be fairer to new members as they'd still have a chance & not have to wait a year.

I think it would be fun to have 2 votes, if we could keep things on time. Do the MOTM middle of the month as they do now. Then have the calender voting for the beginning of the month. Gives everyone something to look forward to a couple times a month? Any thoughts on that everyone?
