I had started the disassembly of the 81 Capri RS that I had picked up from Terminal Velocity and have discovered that the left front frame rail is rusted right out around where the front cross member bolt up to. Due to this and alot of the other rust spots that have gone completely through the metal(see pics under Looking for ideas) I have found another Capri that was at a local wrecking yard and run into a pole in the front damaging the front bumper and rad support. Upon close inspection the rest of the body looks to be in good shape and I will be using that body and transfering the t-tops over as the body is a straight roof car. I will post some pics as soon as I have the car delivered to me and have a chance to take pics. Will keep this thread updated as I continue to work on making one car out of the two so keep checking back and give feedback on how the car is coming out.
