So I was driving home and...

I saw some people crossing on a red across from the Pat (bar in saskatoon) and they finished crossing... I go. I speed up normally, then BANG. I feel and hear a guy run right into the side of my car, actually running... I'm pissed cause I thought he punched it (I still don't know if he did). I turn around in the 7-11 parking lot.. at this time I see alot of blood on the side of my car. So I run over to where this "native american" is ready to give him the what for!!... he is being taken down by some security and cops. He has almost no clothes on and is covered in some blood... He gets manhandled into the back of a cruiser. I give my statement of what I saw. They tell me that he was all cracked out and was dancing in the street and had just stabbed a bouncer... he had almost gotten away but luckily had been stopped by my car.

So this morning I go and look at my car after cleaning it off at work... I have a large dent and scratches down to the metal... on the NEW (as of last year) rear 1/4... I'm not happy... Now I have to go make a police claim thing... and go get my buddy to redo his great work... This sucks... my car is like a target for such things...

I'm sure no one really cares about this but I feel like telling people of my tale of woe...

Yeah, that sucked... And I'm not sure if insurance will cover it... the officer suggested if I noticed damage that I should take it to small claims court... so I might be stuck doing that... and I did get out of the car to put a beatdown on this poor fool... but I'm kind of glad the cops were there, it could have been me stabbed...

insurance will cover it... but you'll be stuck paying the deductible i'm sure... the small claims court would be to cover those costs.

That's how it would work in BC anyway...

Yeah... it sucks... I just placed a police thing after work today.. now tomorrow I make a claim at sgi... then I take it to my body shop and see if they can get sgi to get some more awesome work done (last time I got a free catback because I was clipped from the rear-end and one of the tips bent sideways behind the tire...

and yes everyone sees this as funny, and it was... just not the damaged car part... but maybe I'll get a dent pulled in the process... I did have the whole car repainted last spring...
