Re-Introduction Thread

Thought it might be a good idea to start a thread like this for the more established posters/members to reintroduce themselves to the newer members. Good idea or no?

Okay, here's me:

NOT4YOU = Matt, 33, lives in Aurora Ontario
I work in Marketing Research doing In-Market Advertising Tracking & Consulting
I have a 1992 5L 5-spd Coupe, that I got 2 years back.
The suspension has been fully modified along with the exhaust, interior, shifter and front brakes. It is my weekend warrior and I run it on some road courses at open lapping events whenever I can.
My interests outside of my car are trampy women, golf and DSLR photography.

You can read all about the car in this "FOR SALE" thread here:

I'll also take this opportunity to pic whore !!!

Sounds like blatant post whoring to me.... I'm in!!!

Mike, Port Elgin, Ontario, '06 GT 'vert, first Mustang ....um...several mods.

12 hour rotating shift worker, which may be killing me slowly, but allows for non-traditional time off.
It just SEEMS like I'm here a lot, because I don't work 9-5 Mon to Fri....currently working towards 2000 posts.

Enjoy the relatively BS/flaming/posing free atmosphere here...un-apologetic, 41 year old metal head. (been listening to metal since the early 80's, never grew out of it, no intention to start now!!)

I'll bite.

John, Calgary Alberta, '08 Shelby GT500, Torch Red with Ebony stripes, second stang (first was a red '86 GT with the black stripe), only a few mods.

First toy at 19 years old (in 1980 - yeah, yeah, I know that's before a lot of you were born) was a slightly used all black, stripe delete 1979 T-Top Camaro Z28 which I replaced the stock blue block 350 (gutless boat anchor) with a 350 Corvette LT1 pushing 350 ponies (don't laugh, that was considered a lot back then) hooked up to a Borg-Warner 4 speed. That was a fun car to have at that age. I sold it and bought the 1986 GT. Been hooked on stangs ever since.

I hold a middle-management position at Canadian Pacific Railway. Happily married, 2 kids, 47 years old (as of 1 week ago today).

Golf nut. Love playing the game. Currently building a vacation home (4 bedroom bungalow) 30 miles south of Phoenix with a completion date of Nov 1. Can't wait. The location may have something to do with my hobby.

Need fresher pictures in my signature. I'll work on that tonight.

Great site. Great members. Great info.

KLAW

Kevin, Calgary Alberta, '07 GT Premium - Vista Blue with White Stripes - lot's of mods (in my sig) with many still on the list!

I'm a mechanical engineer and partner in a private oil & gas exploration and production company.

I've always been a racing nut: tricycles, bicycles, motorcycles, go-carts, snowmobiles, cars, boats, skis. If it moved, I hated to lose riding/driving it.
Then I got married...... ha ha.

This car is my re-entry to the hobby after 22 years of raising a family.

Like John, I'm a '61 model year.

Scott, 29, Republic Missouri, red '88 LX and blue '05 GT, both have some mods, but never enough. It's an addiction that I started about 13 years ago.

I work in the underground utility business. Mostly for new construction of water, sewer, electric, and natural gas mains for residential and commercial projects here in Missouri, and a few other outlying states. Been in the industry for about 5 years total and love what I do. Before that, I served in the U.S Navy and deployed twice to the Persian Gulf. Fun times!!

Happily married with 3 kids, 2 of which are under the age of 2(yikes). They're what I live for everyday.
