Nice to find this site!

Hey Hosers,

I'm looking at swapping in an 89-91 Mustang 302 into my 95 YJ. I've got a few parts kicking around already but am still actually looking for a motor, so let me know if you guys have any leads on any decent mills. I'll have a s-load of questions, I look forward to speaking with the group.

welcome aboard. why an 89-91? 87-93 is the same thing isn't it? 5.0 high output.

Assuming he wants to go with a mass air setup...as well as a forged piston...and he was off a bit on the year. Or maybe assumptions are like bungholes... For that type of swap Jeeper, a junker donor car is obviously ideal, because there are little parts and details that you'll never think of, that you either cant buy, or will nickle and dime you to death. Sounds like a cool project you have going there, i've efi swapped two of my rigs so far, and its by far the best way to go IMO, not that yours isnt efi to begin with i guess... Shame you arent closer, i have a re-man'd motor from my 89 LX coupe that i used for a donor car for my 82 GT. Let us know what exactly you have so far, and go from there.
