Is there a short with the clutch lockout maybe? The clutch lock out ties in with the ignition cicruit from the diagrams. Maybe disconnect the clutch switch and try again. (Mine is twisted together or "defeated" meaning I can use the starter motor to move the car if I feel like it).
I do believe that the wire is red with light blue striped from memory.

replaced the battery and had a guy at work take a look at it. He does small engine rebuilds and he said it sounds like a wire issue. He fiddled around under the hood and bang she lives. I guess the battery cables were loose and every time I started it and tried moving it the battery would vibrate and loose connection . well that is just one more thing I can put in the book of stuff that I have had problems with that is very trivial and frustrating and let me say made me feel like a idiot.
