Awesome times, congrats on a good first time out, that is an awesome 60 foot for only a 235 wide drag radial. Best I have done to date is a 1.66 but that is on a 275/50/15 m/t drag radial, don't think I could hook a 235 near that good.

Thanks alot guys, i was totally impressed, especially considering my suspension is just junk. I just tossed 12 pounds in the tires, and had at er, guess i made something work. Oh, and im proud to say i didnt miss a shift at all in my 6 passes
Now that im liking the car again, i can start planning some winter love for it! |

Nice job and wicked times man. You have inspired me to try and get the few little issues done with the car so I can head out on friday myself. Have any tips for someone that hasn't raced in like 7 years? I am totally going to embarass my car I just know it!!!

Lol, just have at it man, last time i was on a track with this car was 5 years ago i think, on the 1/8 mile track in Kelowna...well on top of the highest mountain above kelowna. My first pass down the quarter was my 2nd quickest of the night
Put a big N for newb along with your car/class number, and the starter person will go easy on you.

As far as the cage goes, it doesn't take long to get used to it. If you can afford it i would go for a chrome moly one. I have been powder coating some chrome moly recently and it makes mild steel seem like play dough... One added bonus is having female passengers enter the car when you have a cage, they whine and complain but the view is great!

Call it a wild guess, but I'm thinking DMW wasn't talking about the cage......
