I got stung on a 351 Vic jr carb intake off rpmmclassifieds.com out of Ontario.

i had a want ad and the guy contacted me and told me he pulled it off his car and is nice shape and untouched. When i tryed to bolt it on i found out it was angle milled for shaved heads or a 9.2 deck block. When i called him back he denied ever using it and said he bought it like that and did not know anything of it. When i called him on it he just denied. Refused to give me my money back. Said he'd take my number and pass it on to any other buyers. His response was "well thats to bad" He doesn't post just contacts threw want ads. He's an owner of an insurance company in Ontario.(Travel World)

I try to buy most of my stuff new for this very reason.

Long story short, in my case I got my money back because I purchased with my VISA, 6 months later I called them up and VISA called it "services not rendered" and gave me my money back on the spot. Now I order most stuff from the US with it just for the purchase protection and insurance it offers.
