Interview with John Coletti, the Man who saved the Latemodel Mustang

Here's a cool video I found of John Coletti chatting with Barry McGuire.

For those who are not aware of who Coletti is, he saved the Mustang from being axed in the early '90s with his "skunkworks team" and headed up the SVT team from '92 until december of 2003. a few of his accomplishments were all 3 Cobra R's ('93, '95,'00), the Lightning trucks, and certainly one of the best was the 2003-'04 Cobra.

Indeed, Mr. Coletti has done more for modern Ford performance cars than anyone else. That man deserves his own special edition...nevermind SVT are his initials are they?? lol.

Iron fist, lead foot, great book to read, it really is what makes SVT stand a leagure apart from the competition.

Yeah that is a cool video. I was laughing when he was explaining the "Judy Coletti handle".

Its to bad that ford shook things up like they did back in late 2004, which in turn helped Coletti make his decision to retire early. Maybe SVT will be back like it once was...I'd really like to see another Lightning and some other Ford's with the SVT badge on them.
