Very cool vid! See, same as the new edge was as far as the styling of the 2010, still pictures didn't sink in, but these dynamic shots, I like the look even more (tail is looking better and does acutally suit the car once you see it in video transitions from side to rear).

I'd pay a few bucks to power slide one on a track all day!

it would be nice for ford to have a real engine that has some power potential ! The POS engines they have now that need a blower to get over 300 horse are gutless and expensive . I hope they lurned a valyable lesson with the small bore no room for valves engines . We need more power to stay with the likes of the ls series engines. the real slap in the face is the LS series is a copie from the old 302 mold.

Huh!

Not sure what you are talking about. I'm well over 600hp with my 5.4 with a simple pulley swap, cold air intake and tune.

Without getting into a big pissing match, you do realize the POS small bore 5.4L DOHC (330 ci) makes 385 HP and 385 TQ in the NA tirm from the Cobra R program. The GT500 engine and heads are the next evolution of that power plant. (read factory Hi port head) Without a blower equipped, these engines at 10:1 CR, cams, Cobra R style intake, and headers will do 500 HP. For something that gives up almost a litre in displacement to the current LS series, the blower is merely icing on the cake.

Believe what you want, but the days of the 215 Horsepower 2V 4.6L are merely a historical fact in the modular motor's development.

Im at 2.5 HP/cubic inch in a very light package (aluminum block and heads) with a small blower. I'm already making over 450 ft-lbs of torque at 2000 RPM and can rev this thing to 7500 RPM with ease. If I put tires on my car that can hook this HP on the street, I could barely drive it in the rain. Although it's a bit less economical to run than a stocker, it's still way easier on fuel than a '70's big block. What more do you want from an engine?

Also, I've seen every nook and cranny of this engine - they're easy to work on and they seal up nicely. I've had mine apart and together twice with not so much as a single drop of fluid leak.

I agree totally, these new engines are easy to work on. Lots of reuseable gaskets that do seal up after a few tear downs and rebuilds. And like Klaw said " not a drop of fluid".
