Was a great time, freaky accident and lots of broken parts. Great "Wheelie Fun" Chev Cameo wheel stander. Awesome door slammers. And it wasnt too hot. Dont miss it next year, I understand they are aiming to get a track built up in PA but are having trouble. Fingers crossed.

that would be sweet. i can't believe there is no real eighth or quarter mile track over there. all that open flat country behind parksville or qualicum would be perfect. saratoga isn't even an eighth mile.

glad somebody went. i heard about the 71 year old dude rolling his comet. good thing for roll cages. too bad there isn't more comet caliente's out there. hat's off to a 71 year old that supposedly goes 11's.

I went to it, and I'll go back this year. Good show, didn't see too many mustangs though, brought mine but didn't race it. Afraid all the boys would laugh at the girl with the V6. Maybe this year. I highly recommend it, camp out for the weekend and have fun. I have endless photo's of the races and some of the sexy cars/trucks if anyone's interested.

I missed them this year! Had set plans to go camping on the other end of the Island and they ended up being on the same weekend. Boo. I'll see if I can dig up those pictures, I completely forgot!

Ok, ok, so my roomate Terri uploaded the pics onto Facebook, but she's a Chevy lover so I'm sorry for all the bowties.. I have a couple hundred pics at home, and she only chose her top 60 favs to go into an album. When I remember next at home I'll go on a Ford search.

Never cared for the old style flames, but these new life like flames look pretty cool, seen blue flames once and it looked pretty wicked.

My friend Wes does alot of flame work at his shop, I can't find any super good/ close up pictures of his work but I found a couple, I've seen much more "lifelike" stuff come out of his shop though. Wicked artist.

I know it's a little old and all, but my mother lives in PA, and I got to go see Thunder in the Valley a few years back. Awesome show, and if I get the opportunity next year, I'll be back. When I was there, a car and a plane raced...i mean...it doesn't get much better than car vs a plane...
