I personally hate wine myself... but my wifes done the naramata tour and it's supposed to be the cats ass. Definately look into that.

I'm with snakes, prefer the redneck wine in a can!

i thought this was a classy site, cmon guys. j/k, you do realize i'll never say anything bad about beer. i'd like to write a book about it's beneficial attributes: how it makes you so smart & whitty, how it impoves your lot in life. how it makes you and everyone around you so good looking. it's magic. lol.

Mission Hill winnery is a must. I drove tour bus , and when it was hard to get a schedualed time at some winnerys, we would go to Kelowna winnery in downtown Kelowna. Good quality wines at resonable prices. Summerhill winnery has a lovely view of Kelowna and OK lake, good wine tasting but pricey.

Check out Tantalus Winery, just outside Kelowna. Was there 2 years ago, and if you like white wine, they have a dry Reising that is just amazing. Hard to find in stores in the Lower Mainland so I ordered case recently. They also have a very nice Pinot Noir.
I am kind of obsessed with wine.
Also head south to Oliver and Osoyoos, and check out Burrowing Owl and Nk'Mip, the native winery. Gorgeous countryside and great wine.
