Power2ThePavement Streetcar Shootout June 21

I guess it's a little late, but don't forget about the Power2ThePavement Streetcar Shootout in Medicine Hat this weekend. Test 'n Tune at the street legal on Friday night, then race Saturday at Medicine Hat Drag Strip. More info is at Medicine Hat Drag Race Association and Street Wheelers

This is a great event which runs a heads up 1/4 mile shootout using the 100 foot dash rules for classification. It results in some great, fun, heads up racing.

I'll be there with my coupe if you have been looking for a chance to see it in action, or take me on!

Anyone in Calgary who wants to coordinate going to this event with me can drop me a line. We'll be leaving friday afternoon to get there in time for friday night racing.

PS, for those of you used to IHRA rules, the NHRA rules require a fire jacket for cars with aftermarket power adders that run 13.99 and quicker. Don't get burned on that!

Well, I'm happy to report that I made the Quick Street Final at P2P this year. Great weather, and great racing! Thanks to the Street Wheelers for putting on another iteration of the best Shootout in Alberta.

This was a very well put on event by Street Wheelers/MHDRA.

Managed a personal best of 12.29@114 - 1.79 60ft.

I am definately going next year again (with sunscreen of course). I would encourage anyone that is into racing to check this event out whether you drive a 15 Second Mobile, or a 10 Second Terror.
