Shaun Stewart Memorial Car Show

As some of you already know we have been planning a memorial car show for Shaun Stewart who was a fellow Stang Banger and was killed in a plane crash near Wainwright at the end of March, 2008. We've been scrambling a bit to get organized because of the late start, but we've finally got a location lined up, and and it's on.

Bring your Mustang or Special Interest Ford to the street legals at Castrol Raceway on June 27th for a night of racing, and to the Canadian Tire Parking Lot in Leduc South Common on June 28th for the Show 'n Shine. For more details, see Shaun Stewart Memorial Car Show .

I think is event is going to be a lot of fun, and a great opportunity to celebrate our cars while honoring a fallen fellow enthusiast, so put it on your calendar.

I'm planning on going. Driving up to Calgary on thurs to get a tune from matt then up to edmonton on fri. Since I don't know any of you yet, i'm really looking forward to meeting some of you. This will be my first time on a track as well.

Are any of you bringing drag radials or slicks? If so, any chance I can use them for a run or two? I am getting 335 nitto DR's when I get my new rims. Jjust put some new summoto htr z II on for now but I still spin into third.

I plan on showing my bird at the show and am going to the race, if the afr turns out to be okay on the tune i will race too, if not the racing will have to wait until i get the chip reburned. Its going to be nice to see a large ford presence there for a change....
