Will be in Edmonton area Aug 10-22 - Rides? Rentals?

Hey all, I'll be out in Edmonton (Stony Plain actually) visiting my parents, wondering what events are going those weeks and if anyone knows of a decent place to rent a Mustang? I know some dealerships rent them out sometimes (looking for a V8 of course).

I'd love to trailer or dolly my T-Top out, but the gas would be crazy, and not sure if I would want to tow with my Outback (not to mention the wild objections I would expect from my wife).

At the very least, I wouldn't mind leeching a ride from someone willing or just hangin for coffee and doughnuts (of the black asphalt varity )

Too bad your not going to be there a couple of days earlier, so you could take in Rock'n August over in Saint Albert. They throw on a hell of a good show. Hope to make it up there myself.

I could be there then, can't remember if my wife will be taking that saturday off or not, otherwise it could be possible. My father works in St Al should see if he's interested if we get there earlier enough.

Budget used to have GTs, at least in TO. Check with the airport location... probably the most likely source of interesting cars.

Well, have tomorrow off, picking up two 351Ws as a good start to holiday

Doing the midnight run this Saturday night (drive while the kids sleep), hoping to hook up at some point with whomever, depending on what's happening with the family (trying to keep activities low key this time).

I'll pop on MC here and there, and keep track on my gmail account (associated with email on here), and PMs. Can also call me is something is coming up, and I can see if/when I'm "cleared for escape"...it is my holiday too hehe 204 795 7768. I'll try to find out what days are easiest for me to shuffle away.

Since I'm hauling my trailer out, if anyone wants any of the following let me know and I'll pack it:

stock Driveshaft (84 with T5 and 7.5 rear, its longer than with 8.8 rear)
stock TB/upper/lower (with tps etc and sensors)
Stock fuel rails and all injector harnesses
FLywheel in good shape (10.5in)
Crane Flat tappet cam 130062 and lifters (.512 lift 224 dur at .050) less than 2K on it
2 sets of E7TE heads (stock, one set is great, other has a couple stuck bolts)
set of seats, not stang, but with stang rails (pic on this site somewhere in Fox forum)
White spoiler without light, rounded version
7.5 rear end, but wouldn't recommend it...
Pilot bearing and release bearing
Stock 84 hood (fits 79-86 I believe)

Taking offers on the above.

Would love to take you up on that, I beleive we will be going through calgary on our way to regina for a stopover, depending on timing, maybe i could schedule a flyby hehe
