Hello this is my cry out to the world. I LOVE MY MUSTANG and cars in general and just trying to adapt to no longer having a GARAGE! so things that should be simple such as changing my oil.... not so easy..... If anone is looking for a new garage buddy let me know... Hopefully someone out there with a bit of knowlege that they wouldnt mind sharing too??? I know its alot to ask for but if i dont ask ill never get.

lol well it looks like you and i are the only 2 people on this forum that are in edmonton...i just moved here from saskatoon..what part of edmonton are u in? i'm in the far west...

wow i thought there was a few more then that around here.... but anyways im downtown... Ive got a few more things on the todo list such as front and rear bumpers... and converting to duals... It just sucks being used to having Dads garage... LOL.. I dont like the idea of paying some punk kid to change my oil and check my fluid when I actually care about how things are done to my car....
But I'm scared to change the exhaust because i already scrape the factory cat y pype trying to get into my underground parking...... bigger or not so perfect fit could be kinda dangerous... And its a convertable too and some h pypes say they dont fit with convertables??? any idea why?? extra bracing somehow?

i am on whyte myself, so i know what it is like having no garage, but i have a great friend who has a garage i do all my work in... living in an apartment and modding a stang sucks.. lol and about the exhaust, you might wanna look into a different transmission cross member.. i had to get a different one for my fox body.. what year is your stang

Well mr audio slave im glad that im not the only one who cant afford to have a garage in todays economy here in edmonton!!! But yeah you know what im talking about then ehh?? Well as far as the cross member goes its a 2004 V6 3.9L Convertable. And what is required???? I am very capable in most regards but i have no skill/ ablilty to weld.

well hun if you dont mind the drive over to 62ave...i would gladly help you out. as i think i said i have the double garage. where abouts downtown are ya? i'm like 10 mins away from west ed..so ya get back to me if your interested, id be more then happy to help you with ur exhaust, and body work....

so do you have single exhaust now, or dual? and yeah i cant justify paying half a million for an average home here in edmonton.. thats why saskatoon is in the books for me.. lol, probably by october ish

HA WOW thanks to you all and well i will do that for sure dark angel! HAHA I just changed my oil in the back of my apartment yesterday!!! lol It was funny because i live just off the east end of jasper ave and the bums were walking by.... and yeah enough said... and well yeah a half million for a house is a bit much for a young couple... But for sure and Audioslave its the factory single right now and i want to go to duals... im thinking pypes? anyone else know about them??? anyways thanks to you all and yes i will keep you posted as to when i can afford to get parts!!!! I look forward to gettin some work done..

Im Garageless now as well, i do some work at my dads when i can, now that his car and my car are in storage it should be easier to get some work done in there...
