Fuel Rail Question

How many hp can our stock fuel rails provide? Any suggestions for aftermarket fuel rails are welcome.

I think the only reason we switch out our fuel rails is because of clearance issues with aftermarket intakes. As far as I know you can break your block with them. So no issues really with stock blocks.

With my HCI combo I'm still having to buy odds and ends I didn't think about. ie: injectors, fuel rails because of the intake, MAS and whatever else I'm going to need.

this is a bit of a debated subject. fox rails supposedly don't flow quite as well as sn95 rails, however there have been cars dynoed around the 500rwhp mark wuth fox rails. i plan on spending the dough on the aeromotive kit, when i can scrape the coin together. it's about 650 for the lines, reg, rails, and fittings.

I got the edlebrock rails. I would stay away from them. They are aluminum, and when i try to put the pipe threaded fitting in, it barely goes in, (only like 2-3 turns) I am hoping that seals it and i will work from there.

Kenne Bell says the 94/95 Rails are good to +500 HP so if you still have the stock block you should be alright.

When I see cars in the 450+ range at the wheel on my dyno, I think it's time for a full fuel system replacement - external pump, big lines, big rails, big injectors, everything. Up to that point, the factory rails seem to work pretty well. We normally estimate a 450 RWHP car on my MD-600 to be in the 600 SAE Net HP range.

As others said, if you can still run a factory 302 block with no filler, you are probably ok with the factory rails.
