Terminator FTMFW!
Starting with a car that is A. Already superchaged and B. designed and tuned for a forced induction setup is a far better starting point. Plus the cobra has almost unlimited potential, and a stonger mill and drivline that then SN95 and you are starting with a fresher newer chassis. Conversly a 94GT is somewhat difficult to tune (pickey version of EEC IV) and has those wondeful hypercraptastic pistons that are a weak point. If a terminator is a real option I say do it, there's no way you will regret that purchase.

Hey man, I got a 95 and put together a H/C/I on it. I like it, I had just started running it but i dont think i wouldve been completely happy with the power i was making. I no longer have the H/C/I.
My vote is for the Blower if you love the car. If you are anything but in love, just get a terminator. Also, if you do the blower, get it tuned. Call Matthew at Techmotion.com He is the best there is! He is also on this site and you could give him a shout about what he thinks. |

something wasn't done right... 285rwhp? Hell I'm making close to that with stock port n polished heads, bcam and portmatched intake. I'm running an 89coupe tho. my buddy just dropped 40grand on a 03 with everything already done. KB blower, fuel system, meth injection, the car hit 720rwhp with the meth injection. 660rwhp without. Good luck. |

I am also thinking of getting the KB 2.6L for my engine too....run it intercooled with low boost, and the engine internals should be ok for a while.
I think you should get the blower and call it a day... |

Amen to that! Sacrifice some hp for reliability..... |

Same here. KB intercooled @ 10 psi is my plan while the engine internals are stock. Steeda.ca has the black finish KB kit for just over $5grand right now...

If you go Terminator and update the blower, I think I would go with the Whipple instead of the KB myself. Other's are right in pointing out that the 94/95 computers are a little tempermental and you also have hood clearance and inlet tubing issues with the 94/95 cars because they are a little different than the earlier Foxes. There are lots of successful supercharger setups with these cars though, and they CAN be tuned to work fine.
Orange, I appreciate the endorsement, but just as a quick correction my web site is Tecmotion Chassis Dyno - Home. I met Wayne from Brown Bros. in the lower mainland at Mega Ford Weekend this fall and he seems like a good guy. He brought some fast cars too, though their all-in Terminator was just a little bit short of my N/A, pump gas, small block 90 coupe ... If you are in the lower mainland though, I'm pretty sure that Wayne would be a good choice for a dyno tune on a supercharged Mustang, and a dyno tune should be considered an essential part of that kind of build up.-Matthew |

wayne will likely get even better once brownbros has their own dyno. apparently they're getting one that bolts to the axle flanges , that way they can dial in the irs setups easier, plus no wheelspin.

Hehe, Rob's 10 second teminator is still a pure street car, he was so reluctant to even cage it. Not bad for a 4000 lb car driven to and from the track every time. I wish I wasn't working so I could have come out. Hopefully you will come back and join us next year. Cheers!
