Which Thermostat?

My car seems to be running a little hot, especially while on the bottle... I think I'm gonna go to a 180* thermostat, i believe stock is 192, or thereabouts. What I'm really wondering is if i can go to 160*, or if that'll take me into warm up mode...?

180 is what you want, 160 i dont think will let you out of warm up mode, and you will consume gas. Good luck!

Try to find a MR Gasket 180 stat. They are worlds above the cheap stant and OEM type.

I run a 180*, because I've heard from more than one reliable source that having it at less can cause warmup and open/closed loop problems. However it should be noted that Kenne Bell supplies a 160* thermostat with their Supercharger kits, and those boys have done far more dyno pulls on stuff than many other aftermarket companies.
