Hello,
I talk about the Trickflow and Systemax kit whit a guy who got a speed shop in my town, it's seem not so easy to tune, he recommand to me to not buy and choose a supercharger for almost the same price, is it so hard to tune ? F. |

Francis: 94-95s are nortorious for not reacting well to lopey cams. I'm sure thats why your shop recomended against it. In reality supercharger setups are slightly more difficult to tune. With a mild cam however a naturally aspirated setup will generally run very well without any tuning modifications. Also foxes are much more adaptable (with teh exception of speed density (86-8
mustangs which have very limited adaptability and also dislike anything but the stock cam.

pphhhhhtttt, they just think it's easier to install a S/C. I think they're being lazy. F/I is harder on the internals then a H/C/I swap. Yes the 94-95's don't like modifications but there are still countless numbers of them running around with the swap and running strong. You just need to find a better speed shop.

Your probably right, I ask the question at 2 places and they said the same thing to me, but in your opinion what is the more reliable way the get 300 rwhp ; supercharge or H/C/I ? F. Last edited by El docum : 03-20-2007 at 10:53 AM. |

Tuned right both are reliable, tuned poorly and the supercharger can and will cause damage (speaking form experiance and 16 blown headgaskets hanging from my garage wall
). N/A is safer and more reliable IMO.Either way you need a good tuner for your car.
