2006 Grille Removal

Ok, now I have petite hands and wrists and I can JUST BARELY get down inbetween my grille and rad to undo those clips and I can't even undo them! I have no idea how one of you manly men would get your hands down in there. How in the heck do you get the grille off? I couldn't get a single clip to move an inch for me! I'm not weak either..

1- open hood.
2- remove header panel.
3- remove grill:
- Release the side tabs first. Pry the center of the facia tab out while depressing
the grill tab. Pull gently forward as you go. The facia tabs do most of the bending.
The top two are easy. The bottom two will take some convincing.
- Pull gently and rotate the grill forward to access the bottom tabs.
The bottom facia tabs should bend a lot easier. When reaching in to pry the
facia tabs up, be careful of the radiator/hoodlatch brace. Sometimes the metal is sharp.
- Unplug the fog lights.
- Have a beer.

Yeah it's nice to be handy. Anytime something's wrong with my truck I either google it, stare at it til it makes sence, or call my friend Mike and he talks me through it.

I'll photo document my process, try to get some grease on my hands/face or something to fill any female mechanic fantasies. Jk.

Weeell, I remembered I still need those wires and the new switch, so I should get on Ebay and do that.. Then it'll be underway! Oook, ook, I'll go to Ebay now and do it.. Frick, Ebay doesn't have them anymore.. I'll spend some time on the ol' Googley, see what comes up.

Edit: Just talked to the biggest idiot at Ford, told me the only wiring harness they sold was the complete dash wiring kit, and talked to me like I had no idea what I was talking about. I guess I am just a girl, I should skidaddle back to the kitchen, lol.
