...Now what?
![]() Yeeeah, I have pink carpet.. It's a rental, I don't get to choose! I can see where the fog lights plug in, but whats that big grey block?! Are all those little plugs going to replace where my headlights are already plugged in? |

Not sure I got a complete and comprehensive answer for you Ashley, but sounds like you're on the right track,if that's any consolation. Looks like you got the complete wiring harness that goes quite a ways back....I suspect some of those jacks will be for the headlights, foglights, and turn signals, as well as a ground. The module may be for turn signals, hazards and daytime running lights.
I would say the best piece of advice I could give you , would be go slow on your installation, take plenty of before pics for reference, and only unplug one jack at a time (this is bitter experience talking there!!!). I'm guessing/hoping each jack would be unique on each side for the specific component, but there's no guarantee. Good luck....I'm sure you'll do fine, and someone will likely have a more detailed answer before too long. PS- love the carpet....do the drapes match? Last edited by GT4MT; 06-29-2008 at 5:45 PM. |

Now I'm trying to decide if I even want to hook them up. I don't plan on using them, never have had to use foglights before in my life, and it'd save me about $200... It looks great without them hooked up.. Should I still do it just for funzies or send it back and take the cash?

Um......don't mean to sound like an
, but I respectfully submit that if you weren't sure about it, why bother throwing down the cash for them in the first place? Sending it back, especially if you got it on E-bay, has pain in the ass written all over it, even more so if it had to cross the border. Added to that, I think most places have issues with taking back electrical components, although I could be wrong.....depends on the seller. I never use my foglights either....seems everytime I do some moron flashes me with his high beams, thinking I've got mine on. Mostly for looks I would think...personally I like them, but to each his own. Good luck whichever way you go.... |
