I just bought the sway bars off an 87 GT for my car 91, but it did not come with the bolts for the rear bar. Ford does not make the bolts anymore. Would the bolts from a newer model work eg 2000. the parts guy was no help

If the bolt was the same as '99^, then Ford would not have discontinued them. You'll have to either get some off of a junkyard car or go to a hardware type store to find some that will work.
